Terms of Service
Effective date: 16 October 2026.
Who we are. Fine Food Retail Jobs is operated by The De Beauvoir Deli Co LTD (registered as The De Beauvoir Deli Co. Limited), registered in England and Wales under number 06911841, of 98 Southgate Road, London, N1 3JD. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to that company. Contact us at hello@finefoodretailjobs.com.
Our service. We provide a specialist vacancy advertising platform for UK fine food retail and related specialist food businesses. Employers describe their roles and make recruitment decisions. We do not employ candidates on their behalf, guarantee an interview or job, or guarantee an employer a number of applicants. Advertising services are governed by our Employer Advertising Terms and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Accounts and use
Job seekers aged 16 or over may use Fine Food Retail Jobs to search for vacancies, create profiles and apply for suitable positions, subject to applicable employment laws and appropriate privacy safeguards for younger users. Eligibility for individual vacancies may vary according to the role and legal requirements.
Employers, recruiters and anyone purchasing advertising services must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. Anyone using the platform on behalf of a business must have authority to act for that business.
Vacancies and applications. Check the salary, location, hours, requirements and closing date in each vacancy. Employers are responsible for their statements and recruitment process. Submit accurate information that you are entitled to share. An internal submission confirmation does not guarantee that an employer will respond. When you apply through the board, the application information you submit is shared with the employer responsible for that vacancy so it can consider your application; our Privacy Policy explains the relevant processing. If a vacancy directs you to an external service, that service’s process and privacy notice apply. We do not charge candidates to browse or apply through our platform.
Acceptable use. Do not post misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, abusive or infringing material; impersonate another person; upload malicious files; harvest contact details or CVs; attempt to bypass access restrictions; or use candidate details for unrelated marketing. Do not include bank details, identity documents, criminal-record information or unnecessary sensitive information in an application. Raise any reasonable-adjustment needs through an appropriate private route with the employer.
Candidates aged 16–17. Only provide information relevant to the job. Do not put identity documents, bank details, your full date of birth or unnecessary sensitive information in an application. Check who the employer is before sharing information outside the board. You can ask a trusted adult for help and contact privacy@finefoodretailjobs.com about privacy or hello@finefoodretailjobs.com about suspicious adverts. Employers must use appropriate recruitment processes for young applicants and must not use their details for unrelated marketing.
Content rights. You keep ownership of content you provide. You give us permission to host, display, format and transmit it to operate the service. Employer advertising permissions, including agreed social promotion, are described in the advertising terms. Candidate applications are not licensed for public advertising. Our branding and original site content remain ours or our licensors’; ordinary sharing of public vacancy links is welcome.
Moderation and complaints. We may hold, refuse or remove material where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, enforce the service’s scope or investigate a credible complaint. We aim to explain the reason unless doing so would compromise safety or a legal obligation. Report a concern to hello@finefoodretailjobs.com with the relevant URL and a brief explanation; do not forward another person’s sensitive information unnecessarily. You may ask us to reconsider a moderation decision.
Availability and responsibility. We take reasonable care in providing the service but cannot promise uninterrupted access or the accuracy of all employer content. We remain responsible for obligations that the law places on us. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Specific business-customer terms apply to paid advertising.
Account retention and dormancy. Job Boardly’s published default flags end-user accounts after 12 months without activity and sends a warning. If the account holder does not log in within 30 days of that notification, the account and associated personal data are permanently deleted. We have not confirmed an exception to that default for this board. Do not rely on an inactive account as a permanent store; keep your own copies of information you need. We assess whether account and associated information is still needed, taking account of the service requested, outstanding posting credits or orders, legal obligations, security and any unresolved complaint or claim. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised; any information kept is limited to what is necessary for the remaining purpose. We do not retain all account data indefinitely merely because an account exists. Account closure and privacy requests can prompt an earlier review. Necessary accounting, dispute and opt-out records may need to be kept separately. The Privacy Policy explains the purposes and criteria for retaining each type of information.
Suspension, changes and law. We may suspend an account proportionately for a material breach or urgent security reason. Contact us to close your account; some records may remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention, and changes to advertising terms will apply to later orders unless otherwise agreed or legally required. These terms are governed by English law. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to use the courts of their home jurisdiction within the UK; business advertising disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
